Resources

  • "Modern Drama in English Literature Characteristics" - video and articles summarizing various themes in this history that lead to what we now call Modern English Drama
  • British Literature Wiki - This site provides background on, and interpretations of, British literature and culture starting with the Middle Ages and continuing to the present. Students in English 206 at the University of Delaware began this wiki in the fall of 2007 as a kind of online handbook to complement the work they were doing in class.
  • The Victorian Web - The Victorian Web presents its images and documents, including entire books and an index of authors, as nodes in a network of complex connections. In other words, it emphasizes the link rather than the search tool (though it has one) and presents information linked to other information rather than atomized and isolated
  • German Drama on OpenLibrary.org - 1850 works, including original plays and criticism, about German theatre.
