Research help for Speech Language Pathology students

Essential Research Databases

Below is a select list of research databases from which to begin searching for articles. To view complete list of SLP databases, see the subject guide, or for a complete list of all our databases, see a complete list of library databases.

(To search across several databases, use "Choose Databases" (EBSCO only) next to the search bar.)

Search Discovery

Use the Discovery Search to cast a wide net among our resources, or to search for a specific citation, copy and paste the title of your article in the search bar.

(Note: Discovery does not search everything, but it does include most of our databases!)

Search Google Scholar

Google Scholar Search

When using Google Scholar, add Mississippi University for Women to your Library Links under Settings, and use the Full Text Finder to avoid messages about paying for an article to read it. Your library will get it to you for free!
