Checkout/Return policies for MSMS

Circulating Policies:

Course Reserves per instructor 0 days no limit no renewals
  • Except for course reserves, there are no late fees for overdue items!
  • Course reserves are fined at $1/hour or day late (per instructor stipulations), with a maximum fine of $10.
  • There is a 30-day grace period for fines after the due date, and a reminder to return the item after 60 days.
  • After the item has been overdue for 90 days, we will ask for a replacement fee for the cost of the book. This will be charged to MSMS, MUW undergraduate, and MUW graduate student Banner accounts.
  • If the book is from another library (i.e. you placed a hold or borrowed an Interlibrary Loan), you may be subject to their fees and penalties for overdue or lost items.
