The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) operates to support and encourage undergraduate researchers at the Mississippi University for Women. We provide opportunities for students to participate in projects, conferences, publications, and internships that focus on conducting research and creative exploration. We encourage interactions among students, the university, and the community—and through these interactions, we hope to produce MUW graduates who have valuable skills and impactful experiences. The OUR is located in Fant Memorial Library.
Athena Commons is an open access institutional repository that collects, digitizes, and showcases university scholarship across multiple disciplines and formats.
MUW and MSMS faculty, staff, and students should contact Fant Library at library@muw.edu if you are interested in depositing your research materials. Together and often with assistance from the Collection Development Librarian, we will determine if you have the rights to deposit your research materials, or if we need to seek permission from the rights holder in order to make the deposit. For each item submitted to the repository, the rightsholder must agree to the non-exclusive Repository agreement. For more information, visit our LibGuide to AthenaCommons.
