3D scanning in the Fant Memorial Library Tech Lab is utilized in classroom projects, or co-curricular projects and activities. We also offer both handheld and desktop 3D scanning for your 3D printing projects. The Desktop 3D scanner is an Einscan SP unit. It is able to create very detailed scans. Please see the examples below.

Handheld 3D Scanner: The handheld 3D scanner consists of a Structure IO sensor attached to an iPad. This scanner works with our skanect pro software to recreate 3D models.
